A stranger, Zhdun, meets a boy who has come to visit his grandparents for Christmas. The boy will have to help the stranger get back home, and Zhdun will help his family solve all the accumulated problems.
It tells the story of three very different families who are competing to own the same 1920s Spanish-style mansion that they believe will solve all their problems. The exterior shots of the house are similar to the one Mitchell and Cam lived in on Modern Family. I was hesitant but hopeful when I saw the casting, and I’m happy to say that they exceeded all expectations. The pacing is just right, striking a balance that’s perfect for a drama/thriller-lite genre. The story is both deep and gripping, and I never felt like I was being stretched. The characters are cleverly crafted modern caricatures of the neighborhood’s upper class, and their portrayals become more humorous as the story unfolds. The dialogue feels natural and helps bring the characters to life. The visuals are simple but effective without being overly dramatic. One of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month. Charles, a pensioner, gets a new lease of life when he answers an ad for a private detective and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. Based on the Chilean documentary "El Agente Topo". Remake of The Mole Agent (2020). I’m currently watching episode 5 as I write this. This show is fun, thought-provoking, and quite frankly, a joy. Ted Danson is brilliant as usual. The rest of the actors who are engaging and exciting in this movie "Who did it," series. I relate equally to the criminal aspect and the human aspect of loneliness. Each of us, regardless of age, brings something new to the table. I feel the warmth of the message without all my mind. The comedy is woven beautifully that the laughs are genuine. I hope this show continues on a ride that I really like a lot. Bravo to the writers, actors and directors who have created a gem of a show.
